Isandor’s Death system
———————————————————–
Isandor now adopts 2 versions of Death. **Permadeath and Respawn Style**.
Permadeath is as it sounds. Players can die permanently if dead and not revived by a cleric or by the below means.
Respawn Mode allows a player to just respawn back at their villages.
Any player can establish a village. Think of it like a Dark Souls Campfire. However. To prevent abuse we’ve enacted a timeout system so that players who kill players cannot just respawn and enact revenge. It would be something similar to first death. 3 minute wait. second death 5 minute wait. third 7 minute wait. fifth death+ would be 10 minutes.
**Permadeath characters earn their XP at 2-4 times the rate of respawn characters to balance for the fact that they cannot respawn.
Permadeath system is more lenient now towards permadeath characters vs respawn characters.**
This may change or be altered in time.
To revive on death via a crystal:. A player would bring you to a player built temple to be raised. The corpse is converted to a soul crystal which is used in the temple.
How to use the Respawn Chamber///
———————————————————–
A player must bring the Crystalized Crystal of a dead player to this facility. (The player MUST be online for this system to work). Once put in the Soul Recovery area the player will come back to life.
(As of the moment. The Generator is Disabled)
Each reset the player MUST come back to this location to bind yourself to this location.
Those are are in the PermaDeath Route. There is only one way to bring you back alive. using the Recovery / Respawn Chamber. When you die you leave behind a crystal (when the player hits respawn, Only works on Perma characters) Your soul and essence is trapped in this crystal due to the mystical nature of Isandor.
Inside this crystal you CAN speak outside of it.
