The World of Isandor uses it’s own custom crafting system. It can be a bit complex depending on how you view it. Lets take the easy route to get you familiar. The world uses ‘Recipe Blueprints’ to craft items. Items can be dynamically made or toolset created. You can find a blueprint when you first start out in the world.Using the recipe you can find all the details about this recipe. Using this one in specific. You can see it’s made at a global recipe table. The difficulty to craft is 17.Requires 10 Branches of oak. (We are to assume it is a wooden axe)Lets start by building the table for this.We have completed the structure. Lets take our blueprint to the table.Click the recipe and drag it to this table.Eery time you craft a item. you get Class Experience. The more you craft in general the more knowledge you get. Some recipes have various levels you need to reach before you can craft this. Lets Craft this recipe.Uhoh.This recipe calls for 10 Oak planks. You can get branches by bashing down trees of oak. You can start with your bare hands. Yields the lowest amount. Once you get a wooden axe you’ll be getting oak like a mad man.Once you get the oak. you’ll load the oak on the tableWe loaded the table with the oak.We then hit craft recipe. Note the results.Does a 1d20 + Craft Weapon Mod + wisdom Mod then includes the recipe XP. The Recipe XP is given each time you successfully make the recipe. Note above. I gained 1 Craft XP for this recipe. Now the next time I make it that 1 is added to the modifier. it caps out at 255. Which makes making this recipe trivial.Important note. Here in Isandor you can take a Primary Class and a secondary class.Secondary classes require ‘research’ on your recipes. Lets say you take up Tailoring as a secondary class. If you wanted to make some clothes you would need to research the clothing to 100% (uses appraise skill) If you don’t research the item the VS Research DC would start at 255. Goes down the more you research it. Think of it as your secondary skill is something your training in.
