World of Isandor – Kingdoms

 

We would like to personally welcome you to the World of Isandor – Kingdoms for Neverwinter Nights. The world is a sandbox world filled with lots of custom content. detailed scripting systems and much more.

 

Greetings and hello fellow Neverwinter Nights players!

The Major Systems of Isandor include:

Rest & Ration System:
This system simulates food eating and calories burned. A lot of servers have foods that
you cannot eat. making them utterly useless. With this “Custom to Isandor” system
you can eat foods from apples to chocolate. each giving it’s own ration point(s).
With the ration points. the more you gain. the higher your overall calories. careful though,
overeating can make you fat and less agile. This system can be accessed by using your “Rest’ key.

Construction Systems:
Another Custom Built Class .. which is core to Isandor. is the
building systems. this system allows you to construct anything. from
tradeskill structures to magical statues and many more. This system
is seen all over the world of Isandor.

Action Token:
The Action Token allows you to interact with the world of isandor in
various ways that you otherwise cannot. from picking up stone boulders
to Breaking Branches off of tree’s… Use your token on anything.. or anyone.
you can knock players out with blunt weapons equipped in your hands.

Sub-Classes:
Isandor sports it’s own classes.. from builder, farmer, potter to many more. over 10+ and constantly adding.

What gave you the Idea to create such a module? The Idea I obtained for the Module came from a few games.. Lords of the Realm II and Ages of Empires. Lords of the Realm allowed various city-states to trade with one-another. be at war with another. peace with one another. etc. Age of Empires is where I derived the Building Scheme I created for Isandor. Using this system provides user creativity up to but not limited to User Created Camps, Villages, Cities, Various Decorative locations and User Created Landmarks.
How does the Experience System work on this module? The experience system works by Wisdom Modifier based Ability Score. There is a specific formula used on determining XP. Killing a “TYPE” of creature gains you XP. once. after killing that “Type” of creature again.. you wont gain XP in it anymore. I.E: Killing a Firebeetle will give you.. 20 XP.. killing it again will gain you 0 XP. however. Killing a Stink beetle will give you 20 XP and killing it again will gain you 0 XP. Once you reach your level. you must inform a DM to allow you to “Continue your training” which will grant you the ability to take on the next level of your char. for all levels.

 

Deities and Gods ? Isandor is a bit different when it comes to Gods and Deities. There are no set gods in motions. every god is created by players ingame. primarily by clerics. Clerics are responsible for gaining followers to their Deity of their creating. should there become a prosperous Deity, The player can gain interesting feats, abilities and such granted the god type and dogma.

    Restricted Classes? Clerics, Druids and Subraces have been restricted due to their power. if you wish to play one.. You will have to become voted upon by the other players on the forums. use the poll section.

Isandorian Guild Quest System

Most worlds offer quests. Here in Isandor we run ‘Events’. Events dont have much of a timeline and can range from geological events to something magical that could happen in the world. Events affect the world in a roleplay sense and depending on the roleplay can last as long as it can. affecting everyone or no-one. Also, Our quest system is completely player driven. Inspired by the Goblin Slayer Anime Quest system. Players can put up quests as well as DM’s that can be obtained by player built Guild Halls / Quest Centers. Our only requirement is that the player quests are Guild Leader approved. You can become a guild leader at any time by heading down to the prestige section of the Welcome Room. You must be in a party only with your other guild mates or party goers. No global server party. This system will recognize that and disable this system for your account.

 

 

 

One thing we do have to say about our world.

Our world is resource rich depending on various locations however requires player interaction for social interaction. Imagine being washed up on a island with no resources then working your way up to gathering goods with your fellow humans and such to establish your own villages. We have a ton of resources ingame that allows you to build dynamic buildings and dynamic interiors without the need for the game toolset.

In the beginning or starting on Isandor you will be reliant on other players for trade and barter. There exist npc villages and cities however you would require a player built boat to travel there and that in itself is a unique system we have created.

We do have veteran players who we have given a bit more resources to assist new players on how to play. Do not feel overwhelmed as it will all come naturally as you play. We do have a tip system ingame that details very important details as you play.

You are literally building the world your in with your player tools. Bring in your own lore. We are very friendly with lore as Isandor’s base lore is based on a sandbox approach.

The basic approach is that players have had lives prior to coming to Isandor from any and all planes. There may have been a plane where for instance you would be working in a factory in the city of Detroit and a portal opens that your character steps in bringing you to Isandor. Or another instance where Drow characters stumble upon a portal that brings you to Isandor (we are drow friendly and have starting points for them and other dark/evil characters.)

Considering the character background everyone is expected to roleplay. We keep all OOC to party chat or tells. Unless the DM says to avoid party chat for events.

We have decided to bring back World of Isandor – Kingdoms. This world is a ‘sandbox’ realm meaning that how you arrive to Isandor is completely up to you. Hail from a alternative setting? It’s welcome here. Our only rule of thumb is that your playstyle meshes well with the community.

I would like to say that the world is Roleplay Heavy however you are not required to be 100% in roleplay. We would say minimum 60%. (Keeping all Out of Character chat to party chat).

What is Isandor? : Isandor is a world where while barren allows you as a player to build your own camps, cities, villages, hamlets and more. Working together as a community to establish trade with eachother, build banks, Mint coins and work with a village tech tree that has it’s advantages in the wild. Your up against natural hostiles, DM events, Weather, Seasons, Starvation and much more. Work as a team or work individually to prosper. Become good aligned or evil and start a village of player bandits. The call is up to you.

 

We have brought back the World of Isandor and seeking players! Tired of playing worlds where your freedom is limited? Limited to the current gods, playstyle and such? Look no more. Players can create their own quests and even get XP for them. Create your own player shops in our new and unique dynamic shop system (never before seen). Claim natural land and build with you or your fellow players till your hearts content.

The world ultimately needs players. The more players active the more interactive your experience will be.

Since we are pretty much starting up. We are being lenient on our fellow players forgiving non pvp deaths to a extent if it was accidental and also giving players time to enjoy our sandbox world. (We limit PVP anyway. )

Isandor is a world that is meant to be player challenging but rewarding with time and gameplay. Especially with other characters.
